PDF10x is a free suite of online PDF tools built around one simple idea: your documents are yours. Most online PDF services ask you to upload files to their servers and trust that they will be handled carefully and deleted afterwards. We built PDF10x so you don't have to trust anyone — because your files never leave your device in the first place.
Our mission
Working with PDFs is a daily necessity for students, small businesses, lawyers, accountants, teachers and job seekers. Yet the most common tasks — merging two contracts, compressing a scan for an email attachment, converting a photo into a PDF — are locked behind paid software, watermarks or accounts. Our mission is to make professional PDF tooling free, instant and private for everyone, on every device.
How our technology works
PDF10x uses modern browser technology (WebAssembly and JavaScript PDF engines) to process documents directly on your computer, tablet or phone. When you merge, split, compress or convert a file on PDF10x, the work is done by your own browser:
- Nothing is uploaded — files stay on your device from start to finish.
- There is no processing queue, so results are instant.
- Tools keep working even on slow or unstable connections.
- There are no file databases to breach, because we never receive your files.
