This Privacy Policy explains what information PDF10x (“we”, “us”, accessible at https://pdf10x.com) collects when you use our website and tools, how it is used, and the choices you have. The most important thing to know is this:

1. Your documents

Every tool on PDF10x (merging, splitting, compressing, converting, rotating, watermarking and so on) is executed by code running in your own browser. The files you select are read by your browser, processed on your device, and the result is saved by your browser to your device. No document content, file name or file metadata is ever transmitted to our servers or to any third party by our tools.

2. Information we collect

Because files are processed locally, the data we work with is limited to:

• Usage data. Like most websites, our hosting infrastructure records standard server logs when pages are loaded: IP address, browser type, device type, pages visited, referring page and timestamps. We use this in aggregate to understand traffic and keep the site reliable and secure.
• Contact information. If you email us, we receive your email address and the content of your message. We use it only to respond to you.

We do not require accounts and do not collect names, payment details or document contents.

Advertising partners never receive the contents of your documents, because those contents never leave your device.

We may use privacy-respecting analytics to measure page views and tool usage in aggregate (for example, how many people visited the Merge PDF page). Analytics never includes document contents.

If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, we process the limited data described above on the basis of legitimate interest (site operation and security) and consent (advertising cookies, where required). The site is served exclusively over HTTPS. Because your documents are never transmitted to us, the most sensitive data involved in using PDF10x — your files — is protected by the strongest safeguard available: it never leaves your possession.

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Continued use of the site after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
